Sips awoke from his slumber, gasping for air through the thick and untouched smoke. He blindly reached out for anything he could cover his face with. He grasped onto a dirty cloth and pressed it hard against his pale grey skin. He clumsily stumbled down the dusty cobblestone staircase down to his frozen basement which sent a chill down his spine. Sips closed the iron door as he watched the smoke devour the rest of his house.
Sips cautiously removed the dirty silken cloth from his face as he coughed and wheezed. As he shakily gained his feet, he took in his surroundings whilst dragging his numb and dusty hands across the stone brick walls. He ruffled his jet black hair in confusion as he slid his bare back down the wall next to an old wooden chest. Sips wrapped his shaky pale hands round the worn steel lock as he slowly and carefully clicked it open.
He coughed as a cloud of dust spilled out of the chest and revealed the goods inside. As Sips slowly gained his sanity, he rummaged through the chest to find some basic tools and equipment, but to Sips’ disappointment, there was no food in sight, and there was no way of getting back up into the house without suffocating. Sips gently closed the old wooden chest as he heard the steel lock click. He left the side of the chest and slowly curled up on the cold, cement floor as one lonely tear rolled down his left cheek.
Sips opened his dry and cracked mouth as if to speak, but nothing came out. He gazed across the room whilst lying on the floor and shakily stretched out his pale grey arms. He dragged himself over to the old wooden chest and slowly sat himself up. As he was holding back the tears, he kept saying to himself “There must be a way Sips, you must not give up” He remembered the tools in the chest as he clumsily turned himself round to face the chest. He clicked it open once again and grabbed the iron pickaxe as he began to give a slight smile of hope.
He started to hack away at the stone as the mined rubble crumbled to his bare frozen feet, he had a look of determination on his face as he carved a straight tunnel underneath what used to be his house. He rested his worn pickaxe against the cold stone wall as he sat down with his head in his palms. “I must not give up, I must not give up…” The words replayed in his throbbing head. “I must not give up… I must not… give… up…”
He lifted his head to the sound of fresh running water, ‘Is this real?’ were his thoughts as he eagerly lifted up his pickaxe and began to mine again as the refreshing sound of running water got much louder. He stopped for a second and lifted his ear up to the cold stone ceiling. Sips started to mine a staircase upwards as a large grin formed on his pale grey face. He could feel soft, moist dirt crumble into his hands as he climbed out the tunnel.
But his joy didn’t last for long. Sips gazed out into the distance to see a roaring fire, which he guessed was the cause of his house filling up with smoke. He swore as he immediately sprinted in the opposite direction with all the energy he had left in him. Sips suddenly came to a halt as a scorched tree fell down to the ground. He had nowhere to turn. Nowhere to run. No-one to save him. Sips fell to his knees and pleaded as another tree fell to the ground causing the ground to shake...
Before he could react, a gaping hole formed into the biome’s surface, he screamed with fear as he held onto the roots and tufts of grass. “Don’t look down, don’t look down…” He said to himself as the bubbling lava pit waited far down beneath him. He shut his eyes tight hoping it was all just a dream. Suddenly, in front of him, he saw a strange man with chocolate brown hair and a long beard reach out his hand before me. “Grab my hand!” He yelled at me as I stared at him bewildered. “I said, grab my hand!” He yelled at me even louder. I reached out for his hand as he pulled me up to the surface. “Y-You… Saved me…” I stuttered as he dragged me to safety.

And so you gave the blonde your number, but as a responsible teacher. After school Al went to go hang out with his brothers.
Meanwhile, you kept getting nice texts from Alfred. After school you met up with him in front of the school.
“So (F/n) want to go to Starbucks or McDonalds?”He asked.
“McDonalds!”You cheered. You missed it, now you eat vegetarian things because of Al.
“Great!”Alfred cheered.
The both of you went to McDonalds. You talked, ate, and had fun. You enjoyed his company. It was also getting night, so you said goodbye and went home.

You shouldn't care for someone as bad as Alfred. That was what your mother always told you as a kid, but look at yourself now. You had fallen head over heels for a bully -- your bully at that! -- and you knew it was wrong, but there was something about him. There was something about his grin that you would catch sight of now and then in the halls. There was something about the way he carried himself, how confident he was. Maybe you envied that confidence; maybe that was why you liked him. Or maybe it was just because you had known him for a long time, since the beginning of middle school, and he had grown on you despite his bullying you.

“Your welcome! Oh and Al guess what?”You said.
